No I don't. But the key word may be "old", while it may be a fruitless effort it is worth reminding the folks at White Castle once in a while that there are interested people around.

Which is why I keep calling to follow up. Last year when I called, I was told "Good news! Look for a White Castle location in Fort Wayne sometime in 2008!"

...and then I called again last week or so and was given this line of crap.

On the bright side, a "Smoothie King" Is on the way. Pending, so who knows how long it could be, but it is on the way anyways. I'll be in Chicago or Indy by then for grad school, but it's nice to know that these things are trickling down into Fort Wayne.

First a cool pub downtown with a ridiculously awesome beer selection (including the great white Belgian Hoegaarden on TAP!), then Chipotle, soon a Smoothie King...what's next? A minor league baseball stadium to renovate and bring life to the downtown? That's a great idee, oh wait...sh*t. Well, White Castle will do. Though I've never had it. The concept of "sliders" in my stomach while driving from wherever a White Castle may be to a concert, Lakers' game, road trip, ect., and not having immediate access to a bathroom until I arrived home or to my final destination never sat well with my brain or stomach. That's just me though.

It's a smoothie franchise that is springing up in larger cities. Indy, Cincy, Chicago...

They sell a variety of flavored smoothies, and smoothies are the specialties. You can get special add-ons like energy boost, caffeine, vitamins, ect.

White Castle's all right, I guess....if you can't get to Powers.

I have to admit, though, driving to Marion sounds a hell of a lot better than driving to, say....Daleville.

i dont see why people compare powers and white castle so much.

the only thing they have in common is size of the patty.
