Chris Dodds Keyboard Player

Post by Dr. Drew »

Who was the Keyboard Player that was playing with Chris Dodds at Mid City Grill recently? He was amazing. Is he in a band here in town, I'd like to hear him play sometime. He uses a keyboard controller to trigger a Kurzweil with no keys...

I wasn't there, but that sounds like Chris Miller's rig. His main gig is with Freak Brothers. And yes, he is really, really good.

Thanks Brad. I have been trying to get out more to see some of the local talent. I'll have to add them to the list. When is your next gig, NR Agents?

You need to check Kris Miller out with the Taj Maholics. They play every Sunday night at mid city.

Those creeps can play.

Kris also may or may not be in SuperHunk. He played with us at our last show so hopefully he'll stick around.
Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

No longer with them, but you should still check them out. My new band, White Hot Noise (yes, that's what we settled on), will be playing at Three Rivers Festival July 14. More details to follow.

Oh, and Kris was rehearsing with us as well, but I think he's too busy to commit to another band with rehearsals and writing and all that... Too bad too because he's great. Speaking of which, calling all keyboardists!!! Killer funk/soul/jam band awaits your arrival!

Not really. They're having local bands play all day. We're the last of the locals at 4:15 before they clear the beer tent (pardon me, Meijer Event Tent) to set up for the evening show.
