They now have their own tab on the front page! As long as they can keep that low-life bastard that ruined boxing away from their sport, they'll keep moving up in visibility.

You know what, you should create your own thread about something if you're going to force your uninformed opinions on us. Get off your high horse and contribute something instead of tearing everything down!

I suppose, but I was specifically referring to Don King. Thankfully, they've rejected his advances twice already.

Don King was one of many. Boxing is noted as a home for the unscrupulous.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lidell retire now.

I think he'll fight again. I hope, anyways. He's still at the height of his game, really. 7-1 (all wins by TKO or KO) in his last 8. Not too shabby.

I read on Sherdog.com today that Chuck's loss is going to set up a big payday for him...next up...Wanderlei Silva.

I'm a big fan of the Iceman, but I don't see him beating Silva...

I also heard that Lidell had an upcoming pride fight...has this loss changed any of that?

That's probably the fight with Wanderlei Silva. I'm pretty sure he's still under contract with PRIDE.

This is from Wikipedia...
In a post-UFC 71 press conference, Liddell indicated he would continue to fight. Dana White also stated that his next opponent will likely be "The Axe Murderer" Wanderlei Silva.

So with that being the case, does that mean the "payday" isn't set until closer to the fight? I mean, it sounded to me like Lidell already had this contract before his loss...

I certainly understand that it will be a bigger draw, after his loss, but would the prize money increase now as well?
