The Official American Idol Thread

They all suck this year pretty much...

Three exceptions...

the electronica guy - blake I think, and he's not that good, just different (well, for AI at least)
and the two African American girls - Malinda and LeKeisha (my personal pick)

Everybody else blows chunks. that tall white bald dude reminds me of Michael Bolton... anytime anybody says your singing reminds them of Michael Bolton, that's no compliment...

Those are the two I like as well. I hope they don't get kick off because they don't have enough votes. Sanjaya needs to leave the show tonight. Why can't people remember it is a singing competition!

That Gina chick was actually good last night. LaKiesha is my personal favorite, most of the guys make me want to stick things in my ears till the drums burst.

Can't believe outta the gazillion that try to get on this thing,
that these are the best dudes they picked to be on.

Other than Melinda, Lakisha & Gina,.. you can throw
the rest out....

Wake me up when American Idol starts requiring an instrument to participate. Until then, I'll go to Mid-City for my sub-par karaoke needs.

A girl is definately going to win it. I think that Jordin also has a shot.

I think I'm going to audition for this thing next year. I can't sing, but I have some snazy dance moves - picture a cross between Michael Jackson and Napolian Dynamite. Then imagine a seizure. That's me. Hollywood here I come. :)

I heard a rumor. That the American people are voting for Sanjaya in order to mess with Simon Cowell. He said, He would quit the show if Sanjaya won. Now all the kids are voting for him. I don't know if this is fact or not. I just heard from my kids.

It isn't an instumental contest.. it's a vocal competition. I think a lot of them do play guitar/piano etc. But I have no idea about this season, I don't watch. I only watched the auditions cos they're amusing.
You know when you've found it because you feel it when they take it away.

Need a singer/songwriter?

LOL!

The American public is insane. I have no hope for the future of this great nation.

Mangina stayed in another week.
