Come see Pink Floyd tribute band Earthbound Misfits and Rush tribute Grace Under Pressure perform @ Piere's Wednesday Dec. 27th. This will be the second Piere's performance for the Misfits and a first for Grace.
This will be a great show - playing some of the best songs by two of the most influential rock bands in history. Come check it out and have fun seeing two local Fort Wayne tribute bands composed of members from: The Keagels, Plow, The Crossing, Sfumato, The Franchize, UnkleByll, Roxy Blue's Band, Rock Box, and New England's #1 Pink Floyd tribute Pink Voyd (http://PinkVoyd.com) .
Show starts @ 8:30 with Grace Under Pressure followed by Earthbound Misfits.
Will they be playing songs from Rush's Signals > P/G > Power Windows > Hold Your Fire period? That's my favorite era of Rush music, because I think Peart was lyrically at his best..
"Yesterday Mr. Hall wrote that the printer's proof-reader was improving my punctuation for me, & I telegraphed orders to have him shot without giving him time to pray." -Mark Twain
"There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: the fashionable non-conformist."
Ayn Rand
". . .and the trees are all kept equal by hatchet, axe, and saw."
For this show we will be performing songs from mainly the Moving Pictures album and before. We do, however, play Subdivisions and The Analog Kid. Since we are just doing the opening act deal our selections are somewhat limited. In a full show we do many selections from all time periods in Rush's career. Hope to see you at the show!
Our schedule for 2007 isn't set yet. Yes we play the entire 2112; not just Overture and Temples of Syrinx. Come on out and check out the show. The Pink Floyd tribute is an awesome show!
John is a great singer, bassist, keyboardist, etc. It is a pleasure to be in the same band as him. Jeff, also the drummer of Plow, is an incredible musician as well.

Amen.
I used to play with John back in the days of JFX-best bass player i've ever jammed with.
"You know I'd give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind"
Anyone that didn't catch either of these groups last night missed out on a couple of great performances! And to Al (guitar in Grace...) and Kevin (guitar, lead vocals in Earthbound..), I can't wait until we can start playin' together again. GREAT JOB LAST NIGHT!
