I believe that was Larry Bird and Michael Jordan, Magic. It was for McDonalds.

I don't even remember what the commercial is for but it takes place in a grocery store. The guy @ the register says "I'm open over here!" and someone passes a head of lettuce (or some other throwable food item) and proceeds to run at him, flying thru the air to tackle him.

That one comes to mind...I'll have to think of more. There are lots.

The Terry Tate one is my favorite as well.

I remember a different commercial I liked from the superbowl a couple years back that had various players from teams not in the game singing "the sun will come out tomorrow" . At the end it said "Tomorrow, we are all undefeated again". Probably had to see it because after reading this it sounds stupid to me. :)

I remember one I just saw back in October. It had a guy in a tree wearing a cubs jersey and his wife was trying to coax him down. Then a guy came out (damn, I can't remember who it was off the top of my head) and he said something like "C'mon, you can't hide from October. Come down. Show your love for the game." (parapharasing there). Then other guys came out to help chear him down. They all wore various jersey's from other losing teams. I related a lot to that guy in the tree. As a cubs fan, I never even knew they played baseball that late into October.
