Today's just fine for the draft. The time has been set for weeks now and no one has said a thing up until now.

Ya snooze, ya lose.

Draft was a blast - too bad no one else was concious through the whole thing. I was watching picks go by, and I was certain someone fell asleep at the PC - or maybe had an autistic cousin playing with the keyboard. "Seneca Wallace went early." That should be written on the back of all the $10 bills I'll be recieving at the end of the season.

Might have been a tad early, but, I think Eli could be a top 3 quarterback, this year.

[b]Okay, think of what little patience I have as, oh, I don't know, your virginity. You always thought it would be there, until that night Junior Year when you were feeling a little down about yourself and your pal Kevin, who just wanted to be friends, well, he dropped by and he brought a copy of About Last Night and a four-pack of Bartels & James and woo hoo hoo, it was gone forever - just like my patience is now.

Priest Holmes may have been the best early round pick of the draft. Now that he's on the Physically Unable to Perform list, he's out a minimum of 6 weeks - then may be activated or not. He hasn't practiced since breaking his neck last October, and is slated to back up the consensus number one fantasy pick, Larry Johnson, if he ever does return. Good for the Steamers being unafraid to give Priest a second chance.

I have a feeling this could go either way. I'm hoping it'll go the way that helps me.

ATTN: Get your $10 Entry Fee to Mike Conley (username: "conley"). It is up to you to figure out how to do it. Send him a private message to work something out or better yet, get your ass to Happy Hour (if you're 21+) to catch a Conley/Dodds show and give it to him then.

Peyton was a #10 pick...with a shady/unproven running game. Wow. If only I hadn't secured the last f'ing pick in the 1st round.
