i didn't know the fort even had an underground punk scene? do only a chosen few know about it??? how can ft. wayne even have a punk scene? there is NOTHING punk about this city...

how often do you go or hear about a punk show in the area? Im in a punk band from warsaw, and was told to not even worry about playing fort wayne because no one cares about punk in fort wayne.

Here's the thing about calling yourself a "punk" band. To me, and no offense, but to me that is the equivalent of saying that you are not actually in a "punk" band. Its basically the antithesis of "punk" itself.

ok if you cant say your band is punk what do you say. i say i am in a punk band and that doesnt make me any less punk i guess...but who really cares there are some punk kids around here but as for a scene its not here which sucks because most of the punks in this town are to punk for the others and the others arnt punk enough so this is why i belive there is a lack of scene

I would guess it depends on what genre of 'punk' you're playing. Even if everyone hates the categorization labels.
