studies have shown that the latest demographic of Matt Sturm fans are "tween"age girls!
well, maybe not actual studies, but while listening to The Legendary Trainhoppers in my car this week an unsuspecting 10 year old girl was heard whispering in the backseat to her same-age companion:
"i think the guy that sings this song is named Matt Sturm. he's so cute. i saw him at the Three Rivers Festival. He's kind of famous!"
so, there you have it Matt- a bit of research for targeting your latest market demographic!
As the famous a-hole boy band manager Lou Pearlman once said, "if you can grab the tween girls as a fan base, then you WILL rise to the top". Those little chicks hold a lot of power when it comes to popularity and marketability.
Say with me in your best Veruca Salt voice......."Daddy I want it now! I want you to buy me Matt Sturm's CD now!"
Don't you forget Sturm, I still have hours of video of you in high school plays that I am more than willing to share with the public! See you Thursday at Mid-City! MOO-HAHAHAHAH!

Awesome I would be interested in seeing this! Do you have any footage of Sturm and a sequins vest?

You both missed it. He was wering his Micheal Jackson jacket (no vest, I know...) tonight. Too bad it was a one time only event as the jackey was torn to shreds by a mob of unruly teenage girls who just happened to be passing the building at the same time he chose to make his exit.
Most of it seemed to make some sort of sense at the time.
