There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.

He just tied Babe Ruth's home run record.

The asterisk is to indicate that Bonds did it with steroids, where Ruth did it with cheese fries.

Here's my question.

Do people really think that Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, et al would NOT have used steroids, if given the chance in today's baseball?

I honestly don't put the * next to Barry Bonds, no matter how much of a prick he was, it's still a record.

That's not true...

Look at how far along the pitchers have come these days...

Let the man enjoy his record...

He's a lying, cheating scumbag.

On the other hand, baseball's f***ed. Where else can you work, get busted half a dozen times for breaking the law, and still have a career?

Oh that's right.....GM's Truck Assembly Plant. But I digress.

All the records for the last ten years or so are suspect. Let him in...and leave him alone. Sleazeball or not, HE'LL be in the Hall of Fame....unlike Pete Rose.

Bet on it. (Not you, Pete......)

And let's take a look at Michael Jordan who did bet on basketball, but you will never hear anything more about it since he's a frigging media darling.

While I don't deny the "legends", if put in today's game, wouldn't have used steroids, as I am pretty sure most would have...but, these legendary records were not set in today's game...

I think almost any ball player that was active during the late 80s and early 90s are questionable...

A. Still no irefutable proof he did roids

B. The pitchers of this era were using roids too, which balances out the equation even if he did roids

C. Who knows what Ruth and Aaron were taking???? Football players were juicing during Aaron's era, as were some baseball players. Who's to say Aaron didn't juice too??? For Ruth, there were illegal drugs back then too that could have contributed greatly to his feats. There were at least some very powerful stimulants in use, if not steroids.

A. the dude's head has grown...

B. I don't feel that is an excuse though...they should ban the pitchers as well...

C. True, we don't know what they were taking back then, but I am pretty sure it wasn't human growth hormone!!!
