^ Once, during an unusually bitter winter day, Garr shined his bald head to a mirror-like finish. He then reflected the sun's rays off of his shiny skull to a fine pinpoint spot on a pile of crumpled newspapers to start a small fire in a 55 gallon drum. This heroic act saved the lives of 14 orphans and two nuns who would have surely died from exposure when the city had cut off the heat to their orphanage. This story was never told as Garr made me promise not to reveal this simple and gentle side of his persona. At risk of physical harm I bring you this story. I am sorry Garr but this must be told. I hope someday I can regain your trust.
