There's not one bit of discrimination in this equation.
Depends on your view....

"As a condition of employment, you cannot pray to Allah"

"As a condition of employment, you cannot get pregnant"

"As a condition of employment, you cannot eat meat"

Now legally, he probably will be covered. But morally, especially in a "people should just try to understand each other better" liberal viewpoint, it's a bit hypocritical.

Again, he can set his own employment terms. Only problem is that "Liberal Paradise" UK will probably find him guilty of employment discrimination.

I agree with Ollie...if you CHOSE the job and its terms then you LIVE by the terms...

If it was never a discussion then there is a problem with it. Of course..in comes 'policy change'. If the higher ups suddenly decide to change policy on you then you have to go with it or resign...you are at least entitled to something at that point due to the policy change...or at least you can TRY to get something out of it...depending on how extreme the policy change is...:)

A pattern seems to be developing. The people who yell the loudest about peace, love, tolerance, blah, blah, blah,, yada, yada, yada, yada, often are the first ones to cut your **ts off if you don't do what they want.
Give me a break!!!. We all eat recycled sh*t anyway. Whether it's the cow who eats grass it sh*ts on or the veggies that grow in the ground the the cow sh*ts on.
Love, love, love. All we are saying, is give peace a chance. Because instant karmas gonna get you.

I am a FIRM believer in Karma. I have no idea what drives it, but I have seen it in action so many times....
