I was walking into Henri's and almost stepped on a brand new Matt Taylor cd lying in the middle of the parking lot...I hadn't heard of him around here, but I thought in some superstitious way that I should listen to it so...for some reason I like listening to it in the morning

Ahhhhhh......as fresh today as it was then and Al Green's material was equally fresh if not sometimes a bit raw, especially the classic guitar jazz. All good.

Me ? Right now in the car: Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles, Live ! I think it was in '72. Even if this recording is not your flavor, just the response from the live audience captures a time in music when performances like this were rare, and still are, and Carlos hadn't really found his tone yet.
