Furthermore, filling out the myspace page might help. The geocities page doesn't work (which might be a good thing as seeing geocities in a title instantly looks unprofessional to me) and there isn't much info on the purevolume page.
Yeah, we should have some full band recordings put together as soon as we can, which will then be up on my own website, along with further information: www.saskwatchhunt.com
Offended or not, hopefully some of the discussions posted up on here will interest people in hearing some live Indianarchy action in the near future.

Well if that is the case then we probably know each other. BTW Armand doesnt have anything to do with Sunset any more. I am in charge of booking there now. So you would have to deal with me.

Im done with this bickering, just try to use the board for more meaningful uses.

And also, you dont have to kiss my ass to have me help you, no one does. I didnt get into promo and such to get my ass kissed. I do however prefer to work with serious people so they are going to get my attention first.

Matt isn't in charge of booking at Sunset Hall.

As kimaliz just pointed out, you'd have to deal with him to play there.
scuzzbagcomics wrote: grindspine, seriously though, i'm tired of everyone thinking they have to kiss jericho and all these other guys' as**s to get somewhere in the scene. They act like they got the fw scene under their voodoo, but its just a bunch of bs. there is no scene and independent efforts are the only thing that can help it at this point. i dont personally see x1023 as a necessary path towards success. i'll never be on their station and i dont care. as for geocities being unprofessional, thats just an opinion, but i dont really care, it works, i didn't have to pay anythinig, so who cares?

but like ssrjosh said, i'm really excited about playing some shows too real soon.
I don't kiss Jericho's ass. I don't know anyone that does either, to be honest. Pissing off people who have access to radio airplay and show sponsoring is just an all around dumb move though.

And, the geocities page wasn't working last night when I checked it, but it is now. What I said about it being unprofessional is an opinion, but part of that is because of the ads that users will automatically see when they visit your site.

I'm not saying that you should go out and spend money on a domain and so on if you're doing music as a hobby, if you make money off of it though, a decent website reflects your seriousness.

i actually kinda enjoy your "libra in a taurus" song
Hey thanks. A lot of people seem to like that song the best. As you may or may not know, I am the Libra in a Taurus. And if I am somewhat conflictive towards others, I'm sorry. My zodiacal phase is the libra-scorpio cusp which is known as "Drama and Crticism." So if I criticise you, there are higher forces influencing my actions.

How is that hilarious? I honestly don't know anyone that kisses his ass. As far as I go, I don't think that I've spoken more than two words to him among the shows that I've seen him at. So, if that's any type of accusation of ass-kissing, it's off-base.

If other people are kissing his ass, I have yet to see it.

If you just want to piss people off for attention, get over yourself. Tri-State Killing Spree does it better and has done that act longer. That niche is taken already. You can't compete, so either adapt or die out. Your choice...

Whoa! I wasn't trying to say you did. But a lot of people do. Most people seem to make fun but still respect.

i want to have a FREE SHOW with the biggest names in fort wayne, ALL AGES as well, on a friday or saturday and early so that the younger people don't have to fight with mommy and daddy,

You go right ahead and do that. Spend the money out of your pocket and be disrespected and abused. Let the 'kids' take your efforts and squnder them in a minute of ignorance. Then after all is said and done YOU take all the blame. Put YOUR name on the event and be called the failure when all you were trying to do was offer something GREAT for the city and the area.

Oh wait...I am doing that same thing right now HERE on the internet...sorry...didn't mean to take all the glory...;)

Don't take this as an attack on ignorance...just let it be a nice visual as to what you can expect from this town and it's 'SCENE'. I am still here even after all the crap that I have tolerated and I am not going anywhere soon. Best of luck with anything you do. We will be behind you...pass or fail.

hey chris, i'm not saying that i am the only one with the idea, or that no one is working their ass off to provide the shows that fort wayne has, or that anyone else is losing their money trying to help out the scene, or that i am any better than any of you, cause im not, i have literally done 1 thing for the scene, and that was years ago, and it failed, the show bombed, so i can't talk about how "i'm" gonna make the scene better with this
what i was saying was that we (serious people in fort wayne) need to aim for something big together, combine our resources and put it on

i didn't know about armand, its been two years since i put that show together
i also wasn't trying to kiss your ass for your help, to be honest we definitely are not even good enouogh to play or be considered for playing a show at sunset, you might have listened to our stuff so you should know that, i am trying to tell you that i am serious about the music but i will have to prove that to you at some point

personally, not to be a jackass or anything, but i just really hate your music and your attitude. its obvious from your songs on your website that youre not a hardcore, punk, metal, or even hard rock band. at least it doesnt seem that way from what youve had up, but then dont go around making fun of the other scenes styles. just cuz hardcore or punks or metalheads wear tight pants doesnt mean you should make fun of them and call them gay. i dont make fun of your style at all, so dont mock us. i was personally offended by your narrow-mindness. so just be more open to what people have to say.

we dont try to fit into any genre. we dont sound like what you're used to hearing and we're proud of that. its called originality. and just like haff dolla, we're meant to offend. http://www.saskwatchhunt.com/artists.htm

agatha seriously shut up. no one else is trying to bring up that old pants stuff anymore. it just causes too much arguing and i got threads locked out, deleted, and threatened to get kicked off so just drop it.

I am not saying that you have not put effort forth...I am just making the point that it is mostly for nothing with some of the ungreatfulness locally. I am behind ANYONE that puts effort into the scene...I have done it for a long time now and I am MORE than appreciative of all the efforts that have been extended to myself and the site...I can't even express what an amazing job has been done by a few volunteers that have helped me keep this site here...It will take major forces to take me down...but remember...the majority is against ALL that try to make something good happen around here...the latest convolution show hijynx more than speak volumes for what you get in return.

i see what your saying chris, the public isn't really giving anyone the incentive to what to put together shows or anything of the sort in fort wayne, you have done a great job with keeping this site up and running as well as the rest of those who help with it. . .

AGATHA10
dude we never said that we were "hardcore, punk, metal, or even hard rock" so i don't knwo why you thought we did, we like to rock, thats it. . . and its cool if you don't like it, not every person will just like with every other band (can you believe that their are people you don't like the beatles?!?!?) anyways, we are open to what people say, i like hearing people say we suck and then telling us what they didn't like about it, it makes us improve becuase we know what people didn't agree with about us. . . u just need to remember that the pants thing was a massive joke, we don't actually think u are gay, or that people who do that are either, lighten up dude
