Good question man, there's so many directions to go. The stooges, ramones, clash maybe exploited sex pistols old UK punk or more recent fugazi, social d, Rollins, lagwagon, bad religion decendants, 7 seconds,, even pop based like blackhearts, idol, distillers, the licks, a million ways to go man. I'm more for the slower pop based but like it all. Those are just to name a few on my mind right now.
