Once and for all read 'War & Peace.'

So wrapping up the OLD year...coming into the NEW year...

How did we all do with resolutions this year?

I for one did pretty good on my actual 'resolution'. I was going to attempt to cut out carbonated beverages (coke, pepsi, ...soda in general) and managed in a year to keep intake to less than a full case of 24 oz. cans...

That is not bad considering the majority of times I actually had to drink it there was nothing else either in the house or I was at a fast food place...yes....I know...there is always water...but sometimes you need a little flavor...

So with that resolution I didn't exactly loose any of the weight that I wanted, but at least I didn't accumulate more of it this last year either...

This year I will continue with the no soda and get more working out in the schedule...

So, I don't have to buy any new pants this year!!

370 down to 355. Only 15 lbs down, but it's definitely staying off. Next year, must continue losing.

I failed.

Miserably.

And became even more of a lardass in the process.

Son of a b*tch.

But hey...I saved big money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

I'm 5'9". I started out 2007 at 266 with a 42" waist. Currently I'm at about 225 with a 34" waist which is actually 10 lbs. heavier than I was back in September, but I've been hitting the weights really hardcore since then and have gained a lot of strength so I think the weight gain is all muscle. My goal for 2008 is to get down to about 190 and to define the muscle I've gained.

Read War & Peace in 2007?
I talked to someone named Warren Peace, but no, I didn't read the book yet.

Smoking is #1 on my 2008 list...#2, get back to being more active (and if some weight falls off, bonus).

lost some weight, but not as much as I'd planned on. Wife and I are converting a spare room in the garage into a home gym with a multi-station weight machine, recumbent bike, and an ellyptical trainer/gazelle thingy. It was going to be my studio room, but this is more important right now.
