And the sad thing is, nobody in the audience ever noticed, because he was but a lowly bass player....sigh

I think that dude is epileptic. He must have played too much F-Zero.
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.

Those were the days when often times the bass was as much a novelty to the act as an actual musical component. Technology was such that you were lucky to hear the bass past the bandstand. Bassists had to do something to earn their pay. You'll see alot of comedy and even stunt routines from bassists in that era as well.

Nice.

I've noticed my DB sounds better when I dance around it than actually attempt to play it too!

In the time it took him to probably learn that, I could have beaten Final Fantasy 12 on my playstation. Sheesh, where are peoples heads today?

There are people that are truly talented and are driven to explore the boundries and push the limits of what can be done. As one goes past these boundries and (former) limits, they find vehicles to express what they have found. So, you just don't worry your pretty little head and stay with your Playstation. Life will be much simpler.

I tried bass hero, but I just kept pushing the button and the game never responded. The singer just kept getting more and more points. Maybe my controller was broken?

That is correct, but he made an absolute judgment, that is arrogance.
