Columbia University invites Hitler to speak

Post by bassjones »

And in our scumbag of the week moment, Columbia University, the same University that kicked Military recruiters and the ROTC off campus, has invited the little Nazi from Iran to speak on campus next week when he's in town.

Has the whole world gone mad? This guy makes Chavez look like Pollyanna and Columbia University is inviting him to speak on campus??? But our Military's not welcome...

Then Bloomberg agrees to take him down to the WTC site... This guy shouldn't be allowed on our soil, let alone treated like a dignitary! If I were Bush I'd post snipers everywhere and the first one with a clear shot gets 20 million bucks and the key to the country.

I heard this morning that they are not letting him visit ground zero. There's also a lot pressure being brought down on Columbia to not allow him to speak.

Personally I don't think he should be allowed in our country.

A leader of a country who routinely speaks of our destruction
if we don't follow Islam,... who is fighting a "proxy" war with us
in Iraq already,... who has circumvented the impotent UN mandates
to cease agressive nuclear bomb capabilities while being a couple
of tacos short of a taco plate,...

If it were me,.. I'd meet him at the airport,... give him a
mock salute,... and cuff him.

Has the whole world gone mad? This guy makes Chavez look like Pollyanna and Columbia University is inviting him to speak on campus??? But our Military's not welcome...

I'm pretty sure the cops in NY have refused to escort him, or to provide any security. I heard a funny thing on the radio, suggesting that the whole time he is here we should surround him with nothing but Jews.

That would be fun. Put a yamakah (spelling?) on Bush and all of Congress, plus every employee of every bank/restaurant/hotel he goes into. And release about 100 live swine into his suite sometime around 3:00 AM, serve him pork sausage for breakfast, oh I'd have lots of fun with him, but I'd make sure he didn't leave alive too. Mock trial for the killer, then he "dies" first day in prison... only to be sent to an exotic resort locale with his entire family to live like a King the rest of his days.

Any university should be able to invite whoever they want to speak.

Let the guy talk, let him go to ground zero. Let him marvel in what happened. I'm sure he will screw up somewhere down the line.

agreed, but they should have the sense to not let an enemy of our country that has openly advocated the removal of us and all the jews from the world. They say that they welcome all view points to their university, but that is obviously only true if the views challenge the U.S. or our current president or have an anti war/liberal view. I.E. the refusal to allow the military there.

Is anyone watching this? The Columbia president just called him and I quote...

"...a petty and cruel dictator...."

Yeah,....and then he was asked how he could not recognize
the well documented holocaust.

His retort:

"This is an insult to information and the knowledge of the audience here. There were insults and claims that were incorrect, regretfully, I should not begin by being affected by this unfriendly treatment,"

Way to go and not answer the question.

Our pal Dubya had no problem inviting the Taliban to the White House and wining and dining them. But you are right this guy is mean. Just watch Fox News they will tell you.
This system cannot be reformed or voted out of office because reforms and elections do not challenge the fundamental causes of injustice.

I have a question. If I sat here and spent the next half hour providing proof of Iran's various human rights violations, would it make a difference?

saw it on CNN sorry....

For real spin,... check this quote from the "Islamic Republic News Agency"

On second day of his entry in New York, and amid standing ovation of the audience that had attended the hall where the Iranian President was to give his lecture as of early hours of the day, Ahmadinejad said that Iran is not going to attack any country in the world.

He said that the Iranians are a peace loving nation, they hate war, and all types of aggression.

The audience on repeated occasion applauded Ahmadinejad when he touched on international crises.

At the end of his address President Ahmadinejad answered the students' questions on such issues as Israel, Palestine, Iran's nuclear program, the status of women in Iran and a number of other matters.

Not quite what I observed live.... maybe the little dicktactor was
referring to this....

"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at Columbia University on Monday in response to a question about the recent execution of two gay men there.

"In Iran we do not have this phenomenon," he continued. "I do not know who has told you we have it."

Loud laughs and boos broke from the audience of about 700 people, mostly students at the Ivy League school whose garb included "Stop Ahmadinejad's Evil" T-shirts.

We have invaded a country because of a President who is both oil-driven and paranoid, we go around the world telling people that their religion is wrong and ours is right - their form of government is wrong and ours is right...............seriously, I'm beginning to question who the bad guy truly is?

If Iran went into a country & did exactly what we did to Iraq, would that be acceptable? How do you think you would view the United States if you were the leader of another country?...........I think we've handled things in a rather blindly/ arrogant fashion. GW gets a "pass" for what he's done & this guys the worst thing ever? I'd love to compare resumes.

Once again, I'm beginning to question who the bad guy truly is?
