You know who I feel sorry for? Kinko's employees. Poor bastards. They never saw it coming and now they'll have to pay for the sins of Big Toner. :)

I'm kinda partial to the color cartridges.

They are especially potent...

Listen, nobody panic.
You can still print at home but try to avoid printing around children - it sets a bad example.
You can still print outdoors, as long as you're twenty feet from the main entrance to any surrounding buildings.
You can even print in your car, as long as you don't go through any drive-thru windows.
There will now be an extra $6 per cartridge tax on toner.
Have a nice day.
Big Brother has spoken.

My favorite part is the comment section at the bottom. It's all from people in offices freaking out. Seriously, has anyone ever suffered long term effects from this? Do doctor's go to do an autopsy and say, "Yup, I knew it. He's got the printer's lung." This isn't asbestos people, calm down. Wait for another study, something peer-reviewed perhaps, before going crazy. More importantly remember yesterday, when no one had died from sitting near a printer, and all was right with the world. For God's sake, find something real to worry about.

I've gotta come clean guys. I got hooked on printing when I was really young. I did really well at "just saying no" for awhile, despite all the peer pressure I got from the cool kids in school who would bring in pictures of
butts made from hyphens and dollar signs and tell me how much fun it was to print. Don't even get me started on some of their collating stories. Too wild.

My parents warned me that I should stay away from it, but then they themselves brought it into the house in the early 90s as an "accessory" to our brand new HP 486. It was all downhill from that point on.

*sniff* I learned it by watching you, Dad. I learned it by watching you.

:(
