looking to start a heavy band
Im looking to start a band thats heavy and creative. Im open to alot and I play guitar and drums. My influences include: Rise Against, Tool, Dead to Fall, Darkest Hour, Killswitch Engage, Thrice, AFI, Circa Survive, Mastodon, Thursday,Queens of the Stone Age, Poison the Well,Deftones, and Rage Against the Machine. I listen to lot of different stuff. I would perfer singing over screaming, BUT a mix along the lines of Killswitch Engage or Pantera would be acceptable. I have a Peavy Valve King Half Stack and Drum set and the ability to record. I really just wanna get the music going. I have sample riffs and songs if interested!

All these scars lead to broken hearts.
We are forming another Jam School class at Jam Crib. It is for high school age students and the focus is on more progressive style of rock. A few more students are needed to enroll and then it will get started on Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm. This may be a good opportunity for you. Are classes also get the experience of playing at live concerts, so stop by or give me a call at Jam Crib 422-1654 to learn more. It may be a way to get a band together that will actually have professional guidance in the process of learning the music.

how long have you been playing drums ....... me and my buddy just recently started jamming again, with a sort of erie tool- opeth feel not saying anyone would compare it to them if asked... thats just what i personally feel is most influential and noticable in our writing schemas...as for drums, looking for some one who can do more than what most around here seem to be able to do.... polyrhythms. ,etc. blasting, basically someone who as independent control over both feet and hands, must have experience with odd time signatures.. theres 13 years experience btw. the two of us age shouuldn't be a problem unless transportation is an issue.......
MUSIC = LIFE
LETS WORK ON THAT PERFECT SHADE OF GRAY!!!!!!
