PS3 Idiocy

Even though I am a geezer, my wife and I are gamers (we are currently 87 hours into Final Fantasy XII, which is huge fun). Next to our TV is a PS2 and a GameCube (which we bought mostly for for Zelda/Windwaker, but I'm a huge F-Zero fan).
We've been predictors of the winning systems since our kids were little and we were trying to decide whether to replace our ColecoVision with an NES or a Sega. (We chose Nintendo. Good call.) We also get a little insider information on the industry, as my younger son is an animator at Electronic Arts.
We'll be buying a Wii. We won't be buying a PS3.
