the only game console I could afford last year was the Gamecube and I was extremly let down. Nintendo has been going downhile ever since SNES, so I don't think I'll pick up another nintendo console again.

A wise man once told me. "Sony is no bologna,"

that doesn't look like it should rhyme but it does.

What!!!!???

N64 was great, first time a multiplayer function on a console delivered the goods. No Goldeneye = No Halo, IMHO.

The Cube was kinda poncy, I had one and got rid of it.

The XBox was the only system I had for an extended period of time. (I wish they made the original controller for the 360, I hate the carnie controllers.)

For games like SOCOM, PS2 is much better.

For the kids, it's Gamecube. They ask for the PS2, but honestly it's not built for kids to handle it.

I REFUSE to buy a 360 or PS3. A Wii I may be convinced to buy eventually, but not before Christmas.

I'll wait like I did with the XBOX. They're a lot cheaper if they're a refurbished model.

I loved my PSOne. But then Xbox killed the PS experience for me. I hold PSOne over N64 slightly because it had better single player games and the graphics were slightly better. But the 64 was always the most fun, if there was ever a party, it was either Goldeneye, Mario Kart, or Wrestlmania 2000.

best game for 64 was Star Fox, goldeneye was a close second. But in this stage in my life I enjoy playing multiplayer starfox rather than multiplayer Goldeneye.

I forgot about Starfox multi-player! Also great was Mario Tennis.

We still play the 64 here...biggest game is a Mario Kart knock-off Disney-Cart thingy...whatever it is. Always nice to give Minnie a push from the rear....

Yeah, I read that. I don't believe a word Sony says these days, they'll say anything to possibly help their market share.....which is steadily declining across the electronics board.

The Wii will be readily available through the holiday season and so will the 360. You may not be able to nab a Wii on Sunday but you will be able to get one first week of launch.
i'm getting a Wii tonight at midnight. Unfortunately, the wal-mart on coldwater decided to randomly say a spot in their store to get a chance at a PS3 instead of giving the systems to the people that showed up first.

THanks for reminding me of that. Lately, I've been looking at old used n64 games and thinking to myself "that system really was crappy".

Now that you mention it though, that system was the one I had the most fun on with my friends. And, that's what it's all about. FUN! I think that is what Nintendo realized with their strategy behind the wii. I just hope they pull it off because it is the only one I can afford.
