First off, I'll state that I'm a bit old and out of touch when it comes to new music anymore. Not so much by choice but that's life without cable and all the cool connections. (a little sarcasm there)
Anyways, a few days ago I heard a track on the radio by a band called Placebo. It really stuck in my head. I guess they are kinda popular and have a few cd's out but I'd never heard it before. Anyways, I picked up the new album tonight cause that damn song stuck in my head. I am right now loving the whole album. Anyone else out there a fan?
Placebo anyone?

I've been meaning to check these guys out for awhile on recommendation of Robert Smith of the Cure. They must be good.

"My friend says he wants to die. He's in a band, they sound like Pearl Jam, the clothes are all black and the music is crap."

I grabbed "Without you I'm nothing" and I thought it was a pretty cool cd. I picked up "Black Market Music" and another one, but I've yet to have a chance to listen to them.
I didn't realize this was the band that did that song from way back with the lyrics "A friend in need is a friend in deed, but a friend with weed is better."
hahaha
