Book Club Anyone?

I am not a big promoter of my own website, but I wanted to toss down a link to our book club/discussion area in case anyone here was interested: http://www.deeksworld.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=941

We have just started our 7th book. Basically, the group submits books, ranks them and the most popular is picked for the next book. Jambrea (also a member of FWM.com's writing staff) sets down a conservative schedule and we discuss via the forum.

Seeing that the fun of this is to have different people's perspectives, both in the submission process and the discussion, I figured if anyone around here was an avid reader, that you could join up.

We have had anywhere from 3 to 7 people participating at one time. Its open, so you don't have to read every selection, so don't worry about if you only read a couple books with us a year...anyways, I just wanted to invite everyone in case there was interest.

Yes, if you can't get enough of Garr, this would be a good place to get into his literary mindset...

I have a strange feeling that the 2 or 3 people that may have considered joining the group have now decided against it:)

For those of you that are interested, we are reading Wicked. The book that was turned into a musical. It is the other side of the Wizard of Oz story. We just started up on this one, so now would be a good time to start if you want to!
