chic vocalist

yes, that says chic, I'm not the girly typical chic. Female Vocalist seeking band or musicians to form a band.. Some of my influencers are the obvious tori amos, sarah mclaughlin, other influencers include the harder stuff such as godsmack and NIN.... I am open to many different kinds of music, not just one genre or another. Any more questions... hit me up here or on my email. Its the best way to get ahold of me.

Good to see new female talent emerging,
Check this ad-

I am looking for a female singer for my acoustic oriented duo.
The reportoire ranges from Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Sarah Mcglaughlin, to early Joni Mitchell, Phoebe Snow. In short quality/classic acoustic rock/pop of the last 35-40 years. Also possibly an occasional standard jazz tune as well. The right singer would also be able to sing harmony backup on my own tunes as well as covers of James Taylor, U2, Tom Petty, Neil Young, etc.

Since I am a fingerstyle guitarist (6,7,12 string guitars) as opposed to a strummer we can sound almost like a trio with bass. There is a possibility I'll be adding hand drums(congas, etc) soon where the gig $ will support it. I have 2 cds out and currently trackingf or a 3rd, you can check my website at kevinhiattmusic.com for more info on my solo act. This is an excellent opportunity for a serious musician/singer who will treat gigging like a business, so serious inquiries only.
Thanks to all who respond.

I'm Mia, I'm 16 years old and I have been playing bass and guitar for 4 years. I play bass more often though, and enjoy it more. I like 70's and 80's rock, such as Heart, Led Zeppelin, and many others. I love ska music as well, and Paramore. I'm really interested in playing with people who are really into what they do, and set goals for themselves with music. Please contact me if you're interested.
