No, but I really want to see 'In the Realms of the Unreal' (the documentary).

I was always interested in him as an artist, and how his life really influenced his art. He was rumored to be a murderer! Creepy!

i know.
but, a skeptic belief that what's there has to be eradicated for future improvements.
right?

haha, you talking about the myspace blog? cause i dont even think i mention nihilism in my art.

the blog was basically dealing with nihilism. it's great to want tear down conventions and build something better for yourself, but the blog whined about negativity. kids have the skepticism of nihilism down, but no plan to improve things.

Correct. I click on every link that I see. I'm extremely gullible.

Unless you're rollin with some sort of esoteric Philosophical definition, I wouldn't swing that way with "skeptic." Skeptic just means actively doubtful. It sounds like you're running with a variant of Nietzsche's "From chaos comes order."

the blog was basically dealing with nihilism.
Nihilism has to do with absolute values and the like; kinda like when Nietzsche said "God is dead." It's a Post Modern type of ditty. Morally speaking, Life is nihilistic. Like Protagoras said, "Man is the measure of all things" - we decide our own values.

Check out my Ethics paper in the "Moral Relativism" thread under the Politics board. All Ethical values are equal unless based on a similar warrant (and a warrant is an unstated assumption) - so we need a basic value of some sort to work off of - because even "no value" is still a value.

it's great to want tear down conventions and build something better for yourself, but the blog whined about negativity. kids have the skepticism of nihilism down, but no plan to improve things.
I dont think kids are very good skeptics. There's a difference between a Skeptic and a Hata. Kids are Hata'z. But all small logical steps aside, you're right: once we have figured out the problem we need solutions. There's a Franz Kafka (wrote The Metamorphosis) quote that's something along the lines of "If you break down a man's reality, you have to replace it."

But, to defend the Hata'z: we're pretty far from properly diagnosing the problem - especially when language limits our ability to express AND understand (see the Zerzan and Language threads on the Politics part of the board).
