I remember a kid's music series called "Rock School" that showed kids the basics or rock bands. Entwistle was one of the guest players. He went through a few bass riffs that were just plain cool.

I saw the Who, my first concert, in 1976.

All that movement and action and there, stage right, tilted slightly back, was Mr. Entwhistle, nearly moving. He was a sonic and visual anchor for the band.
