Evansville, last year to see Mellencamp. I'm not a real big Mellencamp fan, but my wife and brother in law are.

the wife and i flew to charlottesville, va to see my ALL TIME FAVORITE band, Earth To Andy, play. we purchased tix online through hotwire (read: not refundable), and the show ended up getting cancelled.

however, we still took the trip, and the frontman of the band (Andy Waldeck) let us stay at his house and loaned us a car while we were there. we also got to get personal tours of the studio, rehearsal space, etc. and hear some material in the works.

so, long story short, there's your answer. from ft wayne to c-ville, va.

Verizon Wireless Indy

To see Staind, Hurt, Three Days Grace, Flyleaf, and Evan's Blue

it was a concert that I will always remember.
Staind did an amazing cover of "This Love" and the had Dime's guitar and guitar tech to help with 'em.

IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cure

I hate myself for not seeing them on that tour.

I drove with a few friends to see a tribute to The Beatle's featuring Paul Gilbert, Mike Portnoy, Greg Bissonette, and some other dude at BB King's in New York City. Basically, we used the show as an excuse to spend a weekend in New York.

Then last March me and a few people drove to New York City again to see Dream Theater's 20th Anniversary show at Radio City Music Hall. Awesome show.
"My friend says he wants to die. He's in a band, they sound like Pearl Jam, the clothes are all black and the music is crap."
