I found an old band today called "Soft Machine" and have been grooving on them all day. Last hour was one song I think.... The one track is about 12 tracks worth of material.

employee, I had those Soft Machine albums when they were relatively new. I played the grooves off the self-titled album that contained songs like "Hope For Happiness," "So Boot If At All" and the unforgettable "We Did It Again."

Also, the next album, with "As Long As He Lies Perfectly Still" and "Fire Engine Passing (with Bells Clanging)."

Those guys were hard-core psychedelia when the newspapers were still trying to figure out what to call it.

"If you want me to stay" was by SLY and the Family Stone.

Unless there was conspiracy by Democrats to discredit The Brothers Johnson by killing their manager, and then stealing millions of dollars in royalties due them.

I've been so sick of new music and how Protools everything is today, I have been going back to find the REAL stuff. Did you know they're still playing gigs? Amazing stuff...
