BEWARE: OLD GUY COMMENTS FOLLOW:

I listened to my students have this debate for 45 minutes one day, and they pulled out all the same frail arguments from an earlier time: When I was a teenager, it was Jim Morrison that faked his death certificate, and was supposed to be still alive on an island somewhere. It must be just something about youth that we want these contra-culture icons to be still around, and not have suffered the consequences of their choices - not that it really has that much impact on our day-to-day existence, other than some kind of human need to believe something in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

I dig Pac. In many ways he WAS quite philosophical and in some ways prophetic... He was a balance of things. Although I dont approve of promoting "thug life"... he did promote a lot of positive things. I dont think he was ever truly arrogant... I feel he worked hard to get his success. Was born out of the worst conditions.. and played second fiddle for a long time.. was the underdog..got an opportunity and ran with it. Literally worked, built connections, and made something outta nothing.

I have much respect for him.

It's just a street gossip because Tupac is really dead and buried because he has played too much with the fire with big notirious.
