My thoughts on radio

"not liking" and "sucking" are entirely different.

I can respect a band I do not like but dont suck at thier chosen genre.

I think there's a camp of people who do not like Dinosaur Jr. and the Violent Femmes.

I've heard those 2 bands mentioned in a "I really don't dig 'em" speech more then once.

agree most the time... except pop punk... the rap thats is on the radio now... and the music that replaced x102. honestly every song sounds the same

Well flapjacks, except for "blister in the sun" I don't think you have to ( or ever had to) worry about dino jr or vf on the radio. So be happy about that.

But in my world you may get exposed to both on the current godsmack level so be happy I don't run the world

FIrst off I've heard blister in the sun a bunch on the radio and i never said "hey those guys ar good, i want to hear more of this" so i never decided to buy a cd

and what do you mean by the current godsmack level?

are you saying godsmack is always on the radio and you dont appreciate it? because i dont either

If i had a radio station I'll tell you right now godsmack wouldn't be on, but more modest mouse would

This city needs a college radio station. That way-providing the PG isn't an obsequeous wannabe industry insider-a wide variety of music gets played.

You are correct. I was saying it seems godsmack are always on the radio. I in no way meant to imply you were a fan on them. Sorry if you read it that way.

they do put on a good show though.

i am deffinately not a fan of modest mouse though. from the song or 2 ive heard on the radi oof them ive taken this in: the gte air time due to 'catchy lyrics', their music is not too difficult to play, the isnger has an annoying voice. This does not make me want to buy a CD.
