Bruce Cockburn is hands down my favorite lyricist ever. The finest Canadian export ever. Brilliant guitarist, unique voice, poignant lyrics. If you've never heard any Cockburn, you owe it to yourself to check him out.

I'll be sure to do that. There is a lot of lyricist that I agree with that people said. And some that I'll definately have to check out. I recently just started paying attention to lyrics, in depth anyway. I never really cared as a guitar player I just wanted to play guitar. But I love a good story.
There go all my carefully earned indie points. Might as well listen to Avril now.

avril - like her older canadian counterpart all-anus - sucks far too much for you to go wasting yer time on ... for extra indie cred points - tell yer friends all about major organ and the adding machine - mangums even more obscure soundscape recordings
