anyone know about amp fuses?
hi, a friend of mine has an old bass amp he'd like to fix, it looks like an easy fix as a fuse is blow but the problem is the fuse was one that was welded onto the board. he was able to successfully remove the fuse from the board without damaging the board but now has no idea where to get a replacement it has a small metal post on each side of the fuse were it was attached to the board other than that it looks like a standard fuse. any ideas where he can take the fuse to get replaced?
Try calling Travis at Guitar Exchange. Those guys are really into old amps and might have an idea.
