Go ahead. Tear the sumbitch down. I'd probably get more entertainment from an empty parking lot.

Good riddance. The Lawn @ White River is a much better venue, anyways.

I might go to John Mayer - especially w/ Ben Folds, one of the DMB/Umphrey's shows and maybe Rush, although I've seen them plenty, so it might depend on the opener.

would LOVE to see Rush. . .regardless of the opener. They don't even need an opener. I'm so sad to say I've never seen them live.

If the sound is good, they're incredible. If it's too damn loud and not mixed properly it sounds like a big jumbled up mess and it's not worth the $50 (or whatever tickets will be). I saw them at the Palace once and I couldn't tell what song was being played the sound was so bad. Another time I saw them at the Palace and it sounded just like the CD only better and louder.

Agreed on those three exceptions - I am going to try to see at least one of these shows - if I don't blow my summer concert budget on seeing the Police. .. . .

The Lawn at White River SP is better? I almost think I agree with you on that: No 9$ dried-out steak sandwiches, no total crappy attitude from staff, and most important, no THREE FRICKIN HOUR WAIT TO GET OUT OF THE VENUE AFTER THE SHOW!

Since it has been 10+ years and they haven't got their heads outa' their collective rectums and figured out that 20K fans + two tiny country roads = disaster, I say, yeah, tear it down. . . .

I'll let that slide... :)

I'll be at Rush at Verizon (the last show there I've been told) and also in Cincinnati!
