it wont do anything for the dual rec you have, trust me on this

Why? Those things aren't really very useful until the final mixdown/mastering phase anyway, and any mastering house will have one. DO NOT RECORD YOUR GUITAR/BASS/KEYBOARD PARTS THROUGH A SONIC MAXIMIZER!!! Record them clean and then use the maximizer post production if necessary. If you record through it, you can't take it back out.

thanks for the advice but the way I run it in line has done wonders for my tone. I don't use it on every track...the ones I want. It is my personal preference...just like I think Hartke is good and you think it is crap.
