October event - how far before the event do they announce?

From past experience how a long ways in front of the occasion does Apple convey solicitations to the press?

I'd read somewhere else that "if" there was an occasion that it would almost certainly occur on the 29th. Working in reverse we could make a suspicion of whether it will happen this year or not founded on the absence of solicitations.

I realize the most recent word is currently 2020 yet I was anticipating another 12.9" discharge this month.

I needn't bother with one so gravely that I'll purchase the year old model.
