or guitarist willing to play bass? I'm a drummer & as I've been looking for a band I've talked to several guitar players, but it seems they're all having trouble finding a bassist. Rock, covers & original.

Be a little more specific in your add. Rock's pretty wide open. Lots of good bass players around, but most of us are pretty busy.

Unless your name is Bootsy, you're the last option - still well before the promoters

roadies and tech geeks, but last in the band. Lead singer's always got first choice, then the lead guitard, then either drummer or second guitard...

I can teach you to play bass.

I have been playing bass for a couple years, mainly les claypool slap style and death metal although i would love to learn how to play a jazz/funk style since thats where bass really gets to work its magic. Anyways, ive never played in a band before, always played by myself with a drum machine or whatever. I don't know what you are looking for in a bass player but im all ears man.
