Screamer/Singer needed for metal/metalcore band!!

Post by Guitarpal »

Guitar player, drummer, and bass player looking for talented and powerful screamer/singer for metal band. Influences are bands such as Trivium, It Dies Today, God Forbid, As I Lay Dying, Unearth, Killswitch Engage, Still Remains, etc. Want a screamer/singer who can be a good frontman. Members have plenty of stage experience and have practice area. We're just a few clean cut kids looking to make some metal with some melody. We'd like to have someone within the ages of 18-25, preferrably male. We're dedicated, serious musicians who want to get somewhere with this. If you're interested, leave me a message here or PM me. Thanks!

How can music thats influenced by those bands be considered "catchy"? The "screaming" that goes on in those bands sounds harsh and crappy...if you want any chance of having listenable music go for a singer that screams like Chris Cornell or Rob Halford.

trivium, unearth, they're not catchy? with electrifying harmonzing guitars and 'catchy' riffs. I don't necessarily want the singer to sound like those bands, but as far as music goes, those are the influences. Rob Halford? yeah, your absolutely right, with music like trivium and unearth, we definitely need a singer like him....
