After another Cubs loss at the Friendly Confines, fans dumped beer on Cubs players Larry Bowa and Keith Moreland. Elia didn't take it so well:

''They're really, really behind you around here, my forking ass! What the f**k am I supposed to do? Go out there and let my forking players get destroyed every day and be quiet about it? For the forking nickel and dime people that show up? The mother-jerkss don't even work! That's why they're out at the forking game. They ought to go out and get a forking job and find out what it's like to go out and earn a forking living! Eighty-five percent of the world is working; the other 15 come out here. A forking playground for the c*ck suckers."
