I am in Milwaukee right now and all the Marquette fans are so happy to finally get rid of this guy. Apparently he is a real douche bag and a terrible coach.

They really don't like him? I'm kinda surprised. I was so excited about this news that I almost Creaned my pants :)

I know, bad pun, had to do it.

The nicest thing I have heard some people say is he was a nice guy and a good recruiter, but was a very average coach when it came to game time. But yes, I believe most Marquette fans are happy to see him go.

Alright, so I have headed up to the middle of the state of Wisconsin in the small town of Marshfield. Tonight I was told we will be very happy with Crean and that he has been a great coach, but they still noted he may be little weak when it comes to game time.

IU fans are quite accustomed to that as is, so that's no big deal.

I always thought of him as a really good bench coach and great teacher. He's an Izzo disciple, so expect toughness, rebounding, discipline and best of all, no cheating. He never had great talent at Marquette, save Dwayne Wade, who was a late bloomer that Crean helped develop into the player he became. Yet he consistently got his team into the tourney and got further than expected on a couple of occasions. At IU with the great talent base and much easier recruiting, he should do very well.
