except there aren't any great QBs in this draft. There are two potentially good ones - Quinn and Russell - but I don't think anybody's tripping over themselves to have one of those two as their guy for the next 15 years or anything. Especially when Troy Smith and Drew Stanton will be available in later rounds and a couple of big guns, including Chad Henne and John David Booty will be in next year's draft.

There are PLENTY of QB's available in this draft that are better than ANY QB Oakland has on it's roster.

Provided they keep the pick...I'm guessing they'll take Russell. They DESPERATELY need someone that can score points. Their offense scored 12 TD's this year.

Hell, it's so bad...they could draft a WR and convert him to QB and STILL be in better shape than what they were this year.

That's true. At least the Lions have Kitna. He's at least serviceable.
