INDIANAPOLIS — In the wake of Sunday evening's 38-34 AFC championship win over the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy had a rather novel suggestion. Why not play Super Bowl XLI in Fort Wayne?

After all, according to Dungy, the two cities involved -- Indianapolis and Chicago -- are just three hours apart and Fort Wayne would make a perfect halfway location for the game.

Yeah I just about spit out my beer when I heard him say that...I was like Wha?...he Said?..heh...and yes...he must have failed Geography...thought it is the biggest city with equal distance between here and both cites I bet...

What was up with the Pat's Caldwell and his deer-in-the-headlights look after dropping TWO wide-open passes, one with no coverage.

Pats should have beaten us.
What, because some guy dropped a couple of easy ones? Marvin Harrison dropped a pretty easy one at one point, too. It happens. It's football. If they should have beaten us, they would have. In years past the end of the first half would have signaled yet another Manning meltdown, but not this year. This year, Peyton and the rest of the Colts found their Championship Hearts, dug down deep, never gave up and won it. There are no should'ves in this game or any other sport, the final scoreboard is all that matters. We didn't get lucky, we beat them and that's all there is to it.

Called the ticket office at Zollner stadium this morning.
I got a great deal on a whole slew of tickets.
