@ EDS, that makes me think of the political struggles detailed in Gregory Maguire's

Basically, there are animals and Animals. The animals are mundane, while the Animals are intelligent and can speak. They are put against in a holocostal fashion, but not quite as extreme as that.

That would make a good poll. Are you a raster or vector guy/gal?
I dabble in vector (pen tool/belzier curves) when I need to, but I'm mostly a raster guy.

same, myself. i can get around the pen tool but not as easily as
every raster tool in photoshop.

I like to think I'm fluid in both photoshop and illustrator.
Without the pen tool I'd be lost. How do you select areas of an image for alteration?
