I am a Christian and I believe what the Bible says. If I am wrong, I won't know the difference. If you are wrong, you, in your arrogance, are in for one hell of a time.Morphine Child wrote:
Well, if the age of the earth set by Creationists is correct, we should have enough fossil fuels to last another few hundred years by next Thursday at 11am. If they're wrong? Well, it's going to be awhile. Sorry to poke fun at the creation myth, but it seemed appropriate at this moment.
The big bang is more of a myth than creationism. To me, it makes more sense to believe that God created everything (whatever His method) than to think that chance is responsible. What was before the big bang? What was before that and what was before that, and on and on and on and on?
Global warming is a hoax. I think it is just one more ploy to bring us closer to socialism. The earth goes thru cycles. It always has and always will. Yes, we should be good stewards, but what we put into the invironment is an insignificant percentage and certainly not enough to change the entire earth. Anyway, plants use CO2 so the more of that there is (to a point) the the healthier the plants will be and the more O2 they will make.
