no, but Lebanon's been making great strides the last decade and they aren't allowed, because of some stupid UN treaty, to go into the "refugee" camps and arrest the terrorists that are now targeting them (a decidedly Muslim country, btw).

We should be paying attention. You cannot placate these lunatics. Caving in to them (Gaza) only encourages them. You can't tit-for-tat with them as it only serves to fester and rot old wounds. They need to be completely destroyed. Not every muslim, but yes every muslim that belongs to Hamas or Al Qaida, or whatever other Islamic Jihadist movements there are. Every single one of them, including their women, children, dogs, horses, camels, etc...

To be honest, this incident in Gaza has essentially given Israel what it really wants. A Palestinian state which openly embraces terrorism, which will gather the scorn of the world. All it will take will be Abbas fleeing into the arms of Israel to make it complete.

What would the irony be if the PA fled INTO Israel to survive....

Jordan sure as hell won't take them... neither will Egypt... neither will anyplace else in the world, yet the world criticizes Israel. Why doesn't anyone want them? There has to be a reason. Oh yeah, they invented modern terrorism. If terrorists were mobsters, Arafat was Don Corleone. Bin Laden is Sunny (the lunatic that took it too far and brought the whole thing down).

And yet, there are thousands, more like millions who want NOTHING to do with radical Islam (see Cedar Revolution for more details).

Lebanon and Israel used to be/still can be a wonderful melting pot of Middle Eastern and Western cultures. It's up to the moderates to pick sides.

See, there are a fair number of Palestinians living and working in Israel, who seem to get along just fine with their Jewish neighbors, but these lunatics can't get along with anybody.

Sankofa....I think you need to do some more digging into the roots of this conflict. Shall we discuss the expulsion of Jews from arab countries (which necessitated the creation of Israel)? Or how Israel "occupied" the Gaza Strip and West Bank?
