"everybody" and "no one"...? I know you are just generalizing, but I think when you start talking some of these sensitive subjects (i.e. racism, religion, favorite ice cream flavors), you should probably try to drop the generalization and stick to just your own personal opinion.

It may make for a less lively thread, but I think it removes a bit of the caustic nature of replies.

I will agree with what I believe is your intention, to say that, it seems that most people want to go to heaven, but hardly any of them are wanting to die to get there. Granted, if you actually meant everyone and no one, then I don't agree with what you said:)

Personally, I am in no hurry to get to heaven, but if I or someone close to me or care about dies, I know they will be well on the other side and will be happy for them...

I got it too, and it took a second reading to get your viewpoint.

Good to see, as it shows one doesn't always have to take what a poster types as 100% literal...

Granted, I really dislike people writing in absolutes like this. I mean, I understand what they are trying to get across, and when people have similar mindsets, it doesn't create any issues. But, its often hard to find people with similar mindsets when discussion topics such as religion, and when you start talking absolutes in that scope...well, trouble often brews because people will argue the absolutes and literal communication, rather than what a person "meant" to say...

Kinda like arguing a comma and a period :) (sorry, I had to pick...)

The only JoJo I know, is a Mojo-jojo...from Cartoon Network.

I'm assuming this is a reference to someone you found annoying on the board...and obviously a rhetorical question, but I have trouble just not replying to a direct comment:)

I lost touch with the FWM "scene" for about a year and just logged back in a few weeks ago, so I apparently have some catching up to do...

I think his posts are all deleted by now. Don't worry, you didn't miss much and your post was nowhere near jojoesqe.

How can you make such blanket judgements? There's people here with other viewpoints, and you have to excuse them. Just more oppressor-speak from Jones. The system must be destroyed!

Down with bassist opressors!

On second thought, SOME bass players SHOULD be oppressed.... for the common good.

I revise and extend my remarks, and will yield the floor now.
