Volunteers, civilians...people are people man. And they've all died for no reason as far as I've been told. Unless you're an Islamic extremist, then they died for a good reason.

You know......SINCE IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO F*UCKING DO WITH 9/11!!!!!!
Which anyone who was paying attention knew from the beginning of the march to war with Iraq. No one in the adminstration ever said they did, and in fact, the big dogs all went out of their way to make sure we knew that. What they said was Hussein was harboring terrorists (which he was), he was attempting to build a nuclear arsenal (which he was), he was a madman who was committing unspeakable crimes against his own people (which he was), he would probably nuke us as soon as he had the capability (which I believe he probably would have), and that he had non-nuclear WMD's (which EVERY FREAKING PERSON ON THE PLANET THOUGHT TOO!!!). That was and still is the justification for going to war with Iraq. Show me one person in the administration who ever said Iraq was behind 9-11. You can't because no one did. If a bunch of dumb hicks who only paid attention about 1/16th of the time thought that was why were going, that's their own fault. If a bunch of people who were opposed to the war from the beginning want to now say that Bush said the reason we were going in there was because they were behind 9-11, well then, they're just flat out lying because he never said that, and neither did anyone else of any level of importance in the administration.

how? volunteers are less important than civillians obviously...
Not what I meant at all, but then you probably knew that. Either that or you really are that stupid.

I simply meant that the people who have died in Iraq all volunteered to join the military - except the civilians, who still all voluntarily entered a war zone. That's a far cry from having a group Islamofascist extremist kill 3000 unsuspecting, unwilling civilians in a terrorist attack in one day.

Bassjones, you're totally correct. No one in the administration said Saddam was behind 9/11. No one. That's why we initially bombed and invaded Afganstan. I was all behind bombing Al Queada in Afganstan. I was not behind invading iraq on something like this:

To justify the war, Bush informed Congress on March 19, 2003 that acting against Iraq was consistent with “continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.â€

by the way, bassjones is talking about "civillians" in the context that started this: Americans that have died. ie:, journalists, contractors, et. al.. all who- yes- entered a war zone knowingly.

In either case, they're worse than you might think Bush is.

I dont understand why you take the time to type out 'ALTHOUGH' but not 'REALLY'. 'STATEMENTS' and 'APOLOGIZE' and not 'JUST'
