Yeah, you want to look up stiff immigration standards, check out New Zealand. OMG! It's nearly impossible to emigrate to there.

Wifey and I are seriously thinking of spending a year or two in Australia after our little trip this year. Won't happen until my girls are out of the house...

Seems are Mexican buddies deeply care about their southern border
to Central America where other countries with even poorer economies,
come across the border north into Mexico for work, they enforce their
border to prevent that,... but the border with the U.S. they seem lax....

I still don't understand how someone can live illegally on their own planet. Where else are they supposed to go?

Oh... are we still stuck on that nation-state thing? Yeah. Call me when that's over. There's more important stuff to worry about than arbitrary lines drawn across the tectonic plates.

right. we should just end all border security, defund the entire military, plant flowers in our tanks and gun barrels and let all those peace loving people from around the world come in unfettered... Because, you know, once we do all that, they're sure to love us and not try to kill us. And we should just tax everyone who makes more than $100K a year down to about $40K and spread the rest of the wealth around because then we'd end poverty and corruption the world over.

I would listen to feasible and viable alternatives to the current structure if ya got some.

Easy answer to end illegal immigration without any arrests, any shots fired and no fence. If you don't have proper documentation to be here, you can't receive any public aid, your children can't attend our taxpayer funded schools, you can't be employed (and we will check), you can't rent a house or apartment, and you can't get free medical care at our hospitals - which actually isn't free because it costs hard-working American taxpayers billions of dollars every year in the form of government subsidies and skyrocketing insurance costs. Oh, and no more "Anchor babies". If you're a citizen or LEGAL immigrant the child you have in the US is a citizen. If you're here illegally, the kid is here illegally too.

They'll flock back to wherever they're from and we won't have to spend an additional dime to do it.

Put them in our prisons so our tax money pays for them anyways?

So you work a bullsh*t job to help your child get an education thats not from a third world country

But you cant legally be in this country because you have a felony.

Is it wrong for people with those kinds problems to hope for more, for them and their children?

Do you ride your bike on the side walk? Probably. It's illegal. It's safer though. You know what i'm saying?
