Kofi Annan says we should sit down and have one-on-one talks with North Korea. Something we have said is unproductive and will not be a party to. However, we will continue to hold six party talks.
So, we say no. NK lights off a nuke dud. Now he says we should sit down and give NK what they want.
Time for the UN to go...

When looking at today's paper containing an article about the possibility of the NK nuke being a dud, I couldn't help but wonder how much of it was disinformation.

one on one talks with NK have been tried before.
Remember Ms. Albright sitting with them in 1994 smiling, toasting
champagne. Then we coaxed North Korea's dictator into
freezing nuclear production in exchange for humanitarian aid.
Six years later, Albright visited them again to discover
that they deceived us again by secretly stepping up
development of his atomic program.
If talks don't include China(it's sugardaddy), Russia
(it's step uncle), Japan & S Korea(it's closest natural
enemies) along with us, then IMHO opinion, this is
a waste of talking time.
But, the U.N.,.. if I said it million times, I've said it once.
they are 80% useless in these scenarios.
So now, if we decide on sanctions, they take it as an act
of war. If we do nothing they advance their program
further anyway.
