@ Lou. . .regarding original content

It's really hard to get that content when you can't pay for it. I've tried desperately several times to get writers and keep content flowing around here, but it's a full time job and I already have TWO of those. . .

Any suggestions you have (with details) are more than welcome in PM! I'd love to hear what you have to say.

:::MOD ALERT:::

Portions of this thread that LW Pwince is referring to have been deleted to clean up this thread.

I left his post as it still has some very good suggestions.

It'd be sweet to have a CD review section that everyone can review. Kind of like Amazon.com, then people can rate the reviews.

Garr has some great backend stuff that will be AGAIN implemented into the site once the graphics set is done and in place.

There are other features to be brought in as well...

I wrote one. Cathy wrote a couple. It didn't seem like anyone read them though...

Yeah, I know. . .I was going for effect.

But you can attest, when something was written, I got it published as long as it was an article. . .

Like Wallace said, we have never pushed anyone away for their genre. I will admit that every once in a while seasoned users may gang up on new users sometimes, but that is not the staff.

Not true.

Let me expand on that...how can you come into this conversation with your first post (troll) and make a unsubstantiated statement like that?

First he said several things in what you quoted..so to start clarify which part is 'not true' and then back it up with some level of fact.

Never has ANYONE been pushed from this site for the sake of a genre of music and especially racial issues.

There have been people who are for all practical purposes not welcome here...but for factors that legitimize their not being wanted here. We know who is here to be productive and who is here to cause issue and problems.

We have been doing this lon enough to know by now...we give everyone a chance. If a time has ever been that someone was not allowed to participate I would love to be made aware of it. As far as staff members singling people out and kicking them out for the wrong reason...I cannot say it has NEVER happened, but I assure you that those problems are addressed on an individual basis and are handled properly.

You in fact are NOT a staff member nor in any level of a control position of this website. You are in fact a 'user' and are to abide by the set of rules in which you agreed upon entering...

Now as I first asked...give and example...and also calrify your statement.

Sitting here looking at my watch...waiting for that response...

Yeah...doesn't look like it is coming anytime soon. Nice that you created a bogus account to make a bogus statement.

This is another GREAT example of how the 'scene' works...lame...

I share your pain. After actually building a place to be a scene for Fort Wayne musicians, I'm convinced that damn near everyone is just sitting in front of a television either playing video games or watching a program about someone else's life. What the f**k? Get off your asses and put some effort into making something out of yourselves. Just because Philo Farnsworth lived around here doesn't mean one has to be totally addicted by his invention.
